Ah yes, an example

An example to my brothers.
To the other young people at our church.
To each person with whom I come in contact.
An example of Godliness, of a holy life.

But here I sit, struggling with my own wants, desires,
concerns, needs. The reality that my life is bound to
the lives of those around me, and theirs to mine, is
so distant. So bordering on not mattering. Until the
day comes that something goes wrong. The person
that I could have influenced, even in some small way,
dies tragically. Needlessly. While I wondered if I spend
too much time working or playing.
