Journey to
Tower Mountain

The following are photographs of my brothers and I on our trek to the 80' tall former
navy tower at the top of what is affectionately known as Tower Mountain.

The two-mile climb up a probably 15-20 % grade really doesn't seem worth it. Perhaps it's
just the sense of accomplishment that one obtains by making such an effort...

Enjoy. :-)

Taking our first break... Sipping from the camelbaks.
Hrrm... Ok, I swear we could see the tower in this shot...
Well, this one you can definitely see it!
10 miles into our journey, we reach the gate at the lower part of the mountain.
This is probably about 1/4 of the way up... We were just starting to get tired. Unfortunately, we were also just starting to climb...
At long last, Dean and Devin share victory! :-)
Me and Devin share victory...
A shot of the looming tower...
A nearly identical shot of the same looming tower...
Another not quite identical, but still similar shot of the looming tower.
